Seven Billion stories and counting

Our Special Broadcasting Station (SBS) has the tagline 7 Billion stories and counting as the world's population increases, connects increasingly, sharing the stories of our lives and adventures.

What makes one story 'newsworthy', another 'inspirational', yet others to 'go down in history' and even deeper those that become the truths of a movement, a banding together of audiences long generations after the characters have gone?

A life is a story of our own creating, we are born and live and die in our stories, we meet villains and heroes, are villains and heroes depending on the perspective the stories and adventures of our lives are viewed from.

One person's terrorist is another person's hero. One person's blessing is another person's hardship. One's loss, another's gain.

And in it all there is only perspectives of the characters and audiences that sit at the feet of tales woven in sharing and carried one to another.

In reality one cannot know the truth of another, for one has not walked all the steps in the shoes of the other. One cannot judge the path or the shoes, or the steps or the choices another makes. No one can replicate with any authenticity the journey of another - where a left foot fell a right foot falling would turn the angle of the body and the clarity of the viewing by degrees. A millimeter of height would change the depth of field available to the senses.

The time of the first has passed, the air and the wind and the sun's rays and the breaths breathed, scent on the wind, footfalls impressed on the rocks on the pathway are all different.

A kaleidoscope of difference in which one can never with any accuracy compare, or judge, or deem or esteem, or blame or herald - it is as intangible as the breeze that flows through the sails in one moment at one degree in a latitude and longitude that will never again be exactly as it is right now. Not ever. Not ever before, nor ever after.

One cannot with any authenticity say they understand the experiences of another.

What the stories of others conjure up in ourselves is of ourselves, not of the other in any regard.

Seven Billion stories and counting... and that is just in the moment of that being the number of humans on Earth, not counting the animal, mineral, plant and ethereal elements in motions interacting with the 7 Billion.

This moment, this view, this perspective, this breath, these sense right here, right now, honor these in their preciousness.

There is no other.
